A murder investigation has been opened after a 16-year-old boy who was shot in Birmingham on Sunday has died from his injuries.
The teenager was found with serious gunshot wounds at a residence on Lighthorne Avenue in the Ladywood area around 12:30pm. He later passed away at the hospital, according to West Midlands Police.
17-Year-Old Arrested for Questioning
Police have arrested a 17-year-old male suspect who remains in custody for questioning in relation to the shooting.
Investigators have established crime scenes on Lighthorne Avenue and nearby on St Vincent Street as they gather evidence and piece together what happened.
